4A Flange Globe valve
The opening/closing part of the globe valve is a plug-shaped valve flap. The sealing surface is flat or conical. The valve flap moves linearly along the center line of the valve seat. The movement form of the valve stem (common name: concealed rod), there is also a lifting and rotating rod type that can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metals and radioactive media . Therefore, this type of shut-off valve is very suitable for shut-off or adjustment and throttling. Because the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this type of valve is relatively short, and has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat port is proportional to the stroke of the valve flap, it is very suitable for adjusting the flow rate.
