The Baldor•Reliance Crusher Duty motors are specifically designed for belt-driven rock crushers, pellet mills, and other applications that require motors rated for severe duty service and high starting torques. These robust motors provide the reliable performance and longevity required in challenging environments.

Specifications:

  • Horsepower Range: 5 – 600 hp
  • NEMA Frame Sizes: 184T – 586
  • Voltage Options: 460 and 575 volts
  • Mounting: Foot-mounted design
  • Construction: Totally enclosed fan-cooled cast iron construction to minimize vibration and bearing temperature, extending motor life
  • Torque: High torque NEMA Design A, surpassing NEMA Design C torques
  • Insulation: Class F with a 1.25 service factor up to 100 hp and 1.15 service factor for motors over 100 hp
  • Bearings: Oversized ball bearings for motors up to 50 hp; combination ball and roller bearing design for motors 60 hp and up
  • Special Features for Large Frames (586/7/8):
    • Oversized roller bearing on drive end (DE)
    • Oversized, insulated opposite drive end (ODE) bearing
    • Oversized 4.375” shaft
  • Protection: IP55 rating for frame sizes up to L449, and IP66 for frame sizes 586/7/8
  • Durability: Embossed raised letters on 304 stainless steel nameplates ensure longevity and durability
  • Compatibility: Inverter-ready with detailed nameplates for easy integration; ABB smart sensor compatible for advanced condition monitoring
