The Explosion Proof Pump Motor is engineered to meet the stringent requirements of NEMA Jet Pump and Close Coupled (JM & JP) pump applications, ensuring safe and reliable operation in hazardous environments.

  • Jet Pump Configuration: Available in single-phase (½ - 2 hp) and three-phase (1 – 2 hp) with a 56J frame.
  • Close-Coupled Pump Configuration: Ranges from 3-10 hp with 143JM – 215JM frames, ideal for tightly integrated pump systems.
  • Drill Rig Pump Configuration: Designed for drill rig pumps, available from 3-10 hp with 182JP – 215 frames.

Electrical Ratings:

  • Voltage Options: Supports multiple voltage configurations, including 115/230, 115/208-230, 230/460, and 575 volts, accommodating diverse electrical systems.
  • Certifications: UL & CSA certified for safety, suitable for Class I Group C&D hazardous locations.

Motor Features:

  • Inverter Duty: Capable of three-phase variable speed control, enhancing performance and energy efficiency.
  • Enclosure: Features a totally enclosed design with robust steel and cast iron frames to withstand demanding conditions.
  • Service Factor: Boasts a 1.15 service factor with Class F insulation, rated for operation in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
  • Bearings: Equipped with oversized ball bearings with a locked drive end for enhanced durability and stability.
  • Thermal Protection: Includes normally closed thermostats for overheating protection.
  • Connection: Features a threaded lead inlet for secure and reliable electrical connections.
