Fire Pump Motor Specifications - 

Operational Frequency:

  • Compatible with both 50/60 Hertz systems.

Voltage Options:

  • Available in 200/400V, 230/460V, and 460V configurations.

Construction Materials:

  • Frames constructed from both rolled steel and cast iron for durability.

Aesthetic and Protection:

  • Exterior coated in red paint (RAL3002) for easy identification and rust protection.

Insulation and Performance:

  • Equipped with a Class F insulation system.
  • Operates efficiently with a 1.15 service factor in a 40° C ambient continuous environment.

Wiring and Configuration:

  • Dual voltage motors (20 Hp and larger) feature 12 leads, suitable for wye-delta or across-the-line starts on either voltage, or part winding start on low voltage.
  • Single voltage motors also include 12 leads and support wye-delta, across-the-line, or part winding starts.

Usage Recommendations:

  • Fire Pump motors are specifically designed for pump applications and are not recommended for use with variable frequency drives (VFDs) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
