Alloyed with 25% nickel, 4.5% molybdenum, and 1.5% copper, 904L exhibits outstanding resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and stress corrosion cracking, making it ideal for chemical processing, marine, gas scrubbing, and pharmaceutical applications.

Unlike standard austenitic stainless steels (304/316), 904L offers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular attack in chloride-rich environments. It is non-magnetic in all conditions, ensuring stability and performance in critical systems.
