The lift check valve features a disc positioned on the valve seat sealing surface, allowing free vertical movement. Similar to a globe valve in structure, the disc lifts from the seat sealing surface when fluid flows through, and returns to its seat to prevent backflow when fluid reverses. Depending on application requirements, the disc can be constructed entirely of metal or feature a rubber or rubber ring on the disc holder for enhanced sealing.
