Description

The Double Block and Bleed Isolation Valve is designed to meet the "Double Block and Bleed Isolation Philosophy," which requires two in-line isolation valves and a bleed valve to safely isolate downstream piping. This setup allows trapped fluid between the two closure elements to be drained or vented, ensuring safe and effective isolation. This functionality can be achieved with a single valve equipped with a bleed port between the obturators.
